A dining nook built around one curved seat, upholstered in a colour that warms the whole apartment.

In JW Marriott Residences the dining nook began with the seat, not the table.

JW Marriott Residences — Dining nook in terracotta velvet beneath a halo pendant

The banquette wraps the corner in terracotta velvet, low and deep enough for long dinners. A halo pendant above it and a round table in front of it complete the composition. Against the walnut and marble of the living room, the colour reads as the apartment’s one warm note.

Like all MAD furniture, it was drawn for its corner and could not live anywhere else.
