Cinema as a brief

Films, old cars and fashion shows: the references that shape a MAD room before a single line is drawn.
A film controls exactly what you see, when, and in what light. That is also the job of an interior.

The studio often starts a project with references from outside design: a scene from a film, the line of an old car, the staging of a fashion show. They describe a feeling more precisely than a mood board of furniture can.
The result is a room that unfolds like a sequence. An entrance that withholds, a main room that reveals, and a detail you only notice on the third visit.
See it in a home: La Feuille Blanche, whose own film was an official selection at two festivals.
